Strategic Designs is an independent brand, web, and marketing practice led by Lauren. Every project starts the same way, understand the work, understand the audience, and build marketing and websites that actually hold up.

The founder

Lauren, founder.

I've been building websites since the '90s, hand-coding HTML in elementary school, long before it was a job.

My career took a less direct route than most. After college, I found myself in sales and marketing in the scuba diving industry, where I learned that understanding a product means more than reading about it.

I'm the kind of determined that's occasionally ridiculous. To sell underwater dive lights better, I spent every spare hour diving and shooting underwater photography. When a client and friend launched a rebreather company, I earned cave and rebreather diving certifications so I could understand the product firsthand. If understanding what you do means going 100 feet underwater in a cave, I'll go.

I started Strategic Designs in 2021 to bring that same approach to every project: learn the business, understand the audience, and build marketing and websites that actually work.

What I enjoy most hasn't changed. I love helping people feel genuinely proud of their business or organization through branding, marketing, and websites that finally look as capable as they are.
