Strategic Designs LLC (“we”) is a small studio, and strategicdesignsllc.com is our website. When you use it, a little information about you reaches us and the services that keep the site running. This page lists all of it. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

What we collect

What you send us

If you fill out the contact form or the project questionnaire, we get your name, your email address and your answers. The questionnaire asks about your business, the services you offer and who you serve, the features your site needs, websites you like, your budget, your ideal launch date, any existing style guides, and whether you want ongoing support. If you email us, we get your message and your address.

What the site records on its own

Our analytics record which pages you view, the site that sent you here, your rough location (city and country, worked out from your IP address), your device and browser, and when you visited.

We also record sessions, so we can replay how someone moved through a page: where they scrolled, what they clicked and which page they opened next. Form fields are masked in those recordings, so anything you type into a form never shows up in them.

Cookies and similar storage

Google Analytics and PostHog store small identifiers in your browser (cookies and local storage) so they can tell a returning visit from a new one. The site works without them if you block them.

How we use it

We read what you send us so we can reply, get to know your project and put together a proposal. We look at the analytics to find the pages where people get stuck, and then we fix them.

We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who else handles it

A handful of outside services run parts of this site. Each one handles only what its job needs:

• Formspree receives form submissions and delivers them to our email.
• Google Analytics (Google) measures visits.
• PostHog measures visits and stores session recordings on servers in the United States.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from abuse, which involves processing visitors’ IP addresses.
• Google Fonts serves the site’s typeface, so your browser requests it from Google.
• Google (Gmail) and Microsoft 365 host our email, so the messages and form submissions we receive are stored there.

Google Analytics and PostHog collect information about your activity on this site. We don’t allow other parties to collect information on this site for advertising.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site doesn’t change its behavior in response to it. To limit tracking, you can block cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and emails while they’re useful for working together. Ask and we’ll delete yours. Google and PostHog delete analytics data on their own schedules.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what you’ve sent us, email [email protected]. We’ll reply within 30 days.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and we limit who can reach what you send us. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
