The challenge

The Western Academy Support and Training Center (WASTC) supports Cisco Networking Academy programs across Arizona, California, Nevada, and beyond, delivering instructor training, professional development, and educational events since 2011.

Its conferences and faculty development had always run in person. WASTC needed to move those operations to a virtual format without losing the energy, attendance, or sense of community that made the events work.

Our approach

We partnered with WASTC as an ongoing creative and digital team across the transition. We handled the graphic design for the virtual events, built and maintained the web presence that hosted them, and managed Mailchimp newsletters to drive registration and keep the community engaged.

Beyond production, we worked with WASTC on the strategy for running and promoting virtual conferences, treating each event as a campaign rather than a one-off page.

The result

WASTC successfully shifted its conferences online and expanded its reach through digital channels. By the client's own account, participation levels reached an all-time high, the virtual format growing the audience rather than shrinking it.

The results have been sensational. Our participation levels have never been greater.
